Tristar Group once again demonstrated its industry leadership and deep commitment to seafarer welfare by successfully hosting the Seventh Annual Safety at Sea Conference at the prestigious One & Only Royal Mirage, Dubai, on 10 November 2025. The event, themed “Get Safety Right, Get Everything Right,” served as a global platform for meaningful dialogue on maritime safety, leadership, mental well-being, and incident prevention.
Since its inception in 2019, Tristar’s Safety at Sea Conference has evolved into a premier global forum for ship owners, ship management companies, maritime authorities, healthcare experts, insurers, and professional mariners. The 2025 edition reinforced Tristar’s proactive role in shaping a safer and more responsible maritime industry.

The conference was inaugurated with opening remarks by H.E. Engr. Hessa Al Malek, Executive Adviser to the Minister for Maritime Transport Affairs, UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure, reflecting the UAE’s rising stature as a global maritime hub.

With insights from Mr Graham Westgarth (V.Group) and maritime legal and operational experts, the session discussed preventable incident patterns, risk management, and enhanced reporting culture.
